(Youth1 Football) – Mason Nguyen, a wide receiver/defensive back/athlete for the Rebels of the Phoenix American Youth Football Conference, has been selected to the 2013 Junior Rank Junior Academic All-American Game. Nguyen, an 8th grade student from Arizona, currently sports a 3.5 GPA and is one of the very select players to earn the distinction of a two-time All-American.   He is a tireless worker and has been training with former Cleveland Brown Al Gross, from Hitman Sports. Due to his tremendous efforts in the classroom and on the football field, Spangler was one of the first selections from a national pool of athletes for the 8th grade game. 
The Junior Academic All-American Game will feature a 7th Grade All American Game and an 8th Grade All American Game. Student athletes will compete in an East vs. West game format.  The game will be held in Carson, CA at the Home Depot Center on January 4th, 2013.  It will be a week-long event that will feature team practices, skills competitions, awards dinners, and of course the Junior Academic All-American Game. 



Mason Nguyen was in the Home Depots Stadium playing as a Wide Receiver  and he had 4 receptions and 19 yards total. The Quarter Back needed to improve better next season. They couldn't throw to any of the wide receiver and was sack 8 times. The West and The East fought a Tremendous battle. East Won 21-0. But no worry's the West will bring it next year and defeat the East Team.
